Mere shaha tere aisaab pe tari mai thi
Wo bhi din thai ke teri raj kumari mai thi
Dard kab tha wo tere dil mai junoon tha mera
Ashk kab thai wo teri ankh se jari mai thi
Ye bhi sach hai ke mujhe maar diya hai tune
Ye bhi sach hai ke tujhe jaan se pyari mai thi
Sari dunya ko pata hai ke nahi tum mere
Sari dunya ko pata hai ke tumhari mai thi
Mujh ko dunya ne dil bantna chaha lekin
Jis taraf dil tha udhar sari ki sari mai thi
